Janet Gaddy


Janet is a former professor at Greensboro College where she served as the coordinator of Art Education as well as an instructor of Ceramics, Design ,Computer Graphics and Women’s Art History. Pottery and sculpture have been a passion for her since she was a teenager. She graduated with a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and a BA in Art from Averett University where she studied under the instruction of renowned artist, Maude Gatewood. Her teaching career began as an instructor of weaving and ceramics at Chatham Hall, a private girls preparatory school in Chatham, Virginia. Today she continues to enjoy doing crystalline pottery in her semi-retirement.
