Patches the Cat Gourd Art
This free-standing feline is made of two gourds, one for the head and body and one for the tail. Both gourds are sourced from the Carolinas. The shapes whispered "make a kitty cat from me", so I did!
I use only gourds supplied by Mother Nature, so slight imperfections become part of their charm. This patchwork lady has leather ears and is hand painted, then sealed for protection. Patches stands 14.5 inches high and her body is 8 inches in diameter. She is quite the conversation piece!
